Get your business in order

Have you got your business in order?

My mum approached me and Bosslady to discuss her affairs this weekend. I know it’s the right thing to do and I know that I am blessed to have the opportunity to do whatever mum wants but 😭

From what is where and why to what I thought she should do with such and such.  Have you been blessed to have it with your parents?

We got down to the dress and make up.

I asked her what other songs apart from How Great Thou Art (everyone has that).

Writing this is making me so sad.

I love the lady so much.

We had a big falling out when Dad died. Mum wanted to shave his “Hitler” moustache off. I told her God wouldn’t recognise him and she told me God wouldn’t have anything to do with my Dad.

Our only disagreement this time was that she doesn’t want a party. I told her it didn’t matter because she would be dead. 😵

Mum then started cursing me in Patois. Our humour is very dark.  I think she was joking🙃

Then, on Sunday the universe reminded me that our convo was not a joke.  One of my oldest friends told me his parent had passed.  The circle of life is real.  Enjoy it whilst you can.  Get the mobile out.  Video the elder in your life.  Film them laughing, cooking and telling stories.

Nothing is forever.

Get your business in order. That might even mean lasting Power of Attorney.
