Beyond his diverse roles, he assumes the role of a social commentator, making impactful appearances on various TV and radio shows, as well as documentaries broadcasted on Channel 4, ITV2, MTV, Sky Arts, and the BBC. His articulate and humerous insights span a broad spectrum of subjects, including politics, British and African-Caribbean culture, and the arts.

As an influential motivational and keynote speaker, Eddie addresses a wide range of topics, showcasing his powerful oratory skills. The BBC
Following numerous successful years hosting his own show on Choice FM, where he cultivated a compelling phone-in segment on a station renowned for its music, Eddie caught the attention of the BBC. In 2002, he made the transition to talk radio and after a plethora of community awards Eddie won the biggest prize in radio, An academy award for ‘Best Speech Presenter.’ Holding the Capital’s decision makers to account, he has come to be known as “The Voice Of London” and his award nominated Monday -Thursday mid-morning show is a must listen.

Professional Actor
Eddie, a native of Hackney, had his formative years in the borough and engaged in various youth drama groups before venturing into a career as a professional actor. His breakthrough came with the role of Staff Nurse Cyril James in three series of the enduring BBC hospital drama, Casualty. Since then, he has embraced numerous roles in both television and film, gaining significant recognition when he became a part of the regular cast on the iconic BBC comedy, The Real McCoy. Eddie has most recently featured in Idris Elba’s film Yardie and has just recorded a radio pilot for Radio 4.
The Entertainer
Eddie played a pivotal role as one of the founders of The Posse, a ground breaking collective of actors who not only performed but also wrote and produced their own stage and television shows. Their innovative approach dismantled barriers that hindered Black artists in the industry. Over 30 years ago, Eddie established GeeStor Productions, a venture that has since curated a wide spectrum of immensely popular events. From entertaining karaoke nights and comedy shows to compelling theatre productions and holidays abroad.
GeeStor Productions has been a driving force in creating diverse and engaging experiences, motivating young people, learning life skills and creating opportunities in the arts.
The Fundraiser
Eddie’s commitment to philanthropy took on greater significance following his diagnosis with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma in 2007. Motivated by a deep desire to ‘give back,’ he embarked on a series of formidable challenges. From leaping out of planes to running the London Marathon and conquering Mount Kilimanjaro, Eddie has fearlessly taken on these endeavors to champion various charitable causes. His efforts have not only showcased resilience but have also contributed to raising substantial funds, amounting to hundreds of thousands of pounds for deserving and impactful charitable initiatives.
